Test trdnosti (150 kg)


Laminatni plan



Material

  • XPS 850 x 50x50 3 kos (250g)
  • Tkanina 163 g/m2 š:1000 x 700 (140+7x50+140) 0,7m2=114g
  • Epoxy 100g+40g (ga je nekaj ostalo) (125g)
  • Laminat 150x850 (300g/m2 ?) (76g)
  • Površina: 0,128m2
  • Masa - kalkulacijska: 565g (4,4 kg/m2)  --> realna masa 615g (4,8 kg/m2)
  • Čas - od priprave do zaključka: 2,5h

Naučeno: 

  • podložni polivinil mora biti tako širok kot je 2x širina plošče+višina+5cm da se prekrije izdelek
  • idealno da je delovna površina široka kot širina izdelka x 2 + rezerva
  • namočiti tkanino najprej
  • dvojne rokavice (!!) 
  • laminatni plan - smiselno bi bilo dati laminat med tkanino (tkanina, ki objame vse, laminat, MW - ta z ene in druge strani prekrije dno)
  • najbolje da je liho število reber (z vidika prekrivanja)
  • narediti raster na pohodni strani
  • vdelati furnir namesto laminata?
  • laminat je bil z namenom, da se tkanina ne spoji med polaganjem vertikalnih delov - eventuelno dati furnir?
  • tokrat prešanje pod pritiskom, sponami - naslednjč vakuum
  • narediti kovinsko ogrevano mizo?
  • preračuni - za zadnja pološča - 500x1100 - 11x 45x50 (oz trapezne 40/50x50)

Summer 2015

Sailing the route

Krk - Pag - Silba - Dugi otok - Žut - Iž - Brgulje - Rab - Krk
In total we sailed 230 nm in 11 days.

First 50 miles

Our first long(er) distance experience with Striderman.

We have a new design on the boat.... (it's not a window)

 


It was a day with only a lite breeze and we just wanted to go to a bay and bath&relax in the afternoon. At some point there was some wind and we said let's hoist the sails and see if we can get some more speed as with the small Honda 2.3 (my 5 HP Suzuki is at the service after borrowing it to a friend and the motor took a bath in the sea :( ). The boat picked up the wind very well, soon we sailed between 5 and 6,5 knots in a breeze less than 10 knots. At the end the wind picked up and we reached 9,9 kts (measured on GPS, pity it was not 10...) The Striderman really goes well... We ended on the 15 miles away and spend the night there.  It's great now with the comfort of sleeping on board :)  The next day the winds were even lower, but we had to sail back as we've been low on petrol as (it was not intended to go so far...). At the end we sailed almost to the buoy and it was a great weekend.

First sail in a light breeze

Finally I came to the fist sail. In a very light breeze the boat picked up very good and we achieved 5 knots. 

The small Honda 2.3 pushed the boat up to 5 kt, with the sails it went faster. Hardly waiting to sail in some stronger winds.

Launching in Punat/Croatia


We started the assembly at ca 9am unloading the car&trailer. Real assembly started at 11 pm and were ready for launching at 2:30pm. We started in slow, the time was running fast, at some point we had to speed up. At some point in time I did not believe we'll be ready at 3pm when the last lift was.

Building the hard-deck


I decided to build a hard deck for Striderman.

Materials used: 
- 4 mm Okumee ply 
- 40 x 20 mm fir/spruce
- Styrodur 40 mm
- Epoxy

The main beams are build from 70x20 mm fir/spruce
